Description
BinTac Zeus Tactical 32″ .58: Velocity is King
In the world of extreme airgunning, barrel length translates directly to performance. The BinTac Zeus Tactical 32″ .58 takes this physics principle to the extreme. Designed for the shooter who wants to reach out and touch targets at distances previously thought impossible for an air rifle, this 32-inch configuration acts as a launchpad for heavy lead slugs.
Maximum Dwell Time = Maximum Speed
The Zeus valve releases a tremendous volume of high-pressure air. In shorter barrels, some of this pressure is wasted as muzzle blast. The 32-inch barrel traps that pressure behind the slug for a fraction of a second longer, continuing to accelerate the projectile until the very last moment. This results in:
- Higher Muzzle Velocity: Gaining substantial FPS over the 16″ and 24″ models.
- Flatter Trajectory: Less hold-over required at 100+ yards.
- Wind Resistance: Faster slugs spend less time in the air, drifting less in crosswinds.
Precision & Stability
A 32-inch barrel requires a stable platform. The Zeus Tactical chassis provides a rigid backbone. The added weight of the long barrel acts as a natural dampener, reducing muzzle flip and allowing you to spot your own impacts through the scope. While it may be too long for dense brush stalking, it is the ultimate weapon for firing from a bipod, tripod, or shooting bench.
The .58 Sweet Spot
Chambered in .58 caliber, this rifle offers better aerodynamics than the larger .72, making it the superior choice for accuracy at distance. It still delivers massive knockdown power, but with the precision of a scalpel rather than a sledgehammer.
BinTac Tech Note:
Transport & Handling: Please note that with a 32″ barrel, this is a very long rifle. Ensure you have a gun case capable of accommodating the total length.
Barrel Harmonics: For extreme precision, we recommend experimenting with barrel tensioners or tuners, as long barrels are more sensitive to harmonic vibration. A heavy-duty bipod is mandatory.
