Description
Replacement Valve Pin for BinTac / AEA Zeus
The BinTac Zeus is known for its massive power, but that power places significant stress on internal components. The Valve Pin is the critical link that absorbs the hammer strike to release the air. Over time, or due to dry-firing at max power, this pin can become bent or worn, compromising the rifle’s performance.
When to Replace?
There are two main signs that your valve pin needs replacing:
- Leaking down the barrel: If you hear air hissing from the muzzle when the bolt is closed, the valve pin is often not seating correctly due to a bend or debris.
- Bent Shaft: This often occurs if the rifle is fired without air pressure (dry fired) with high hammer spring tension, or if users attempt to disassemble the valve while it is still under pressure.
OEM Durability
This is a genuine factory part, manufactured to the exact tolerances required for the Zeus valve assembly. It is made from hardened steel to handle the 4500 PSI operating pressure and the heavy impact of the Zeus hammer system.
BinTac Tech Note:
Safety First: ALWAYS ensure the rifle is completely degassed (0 PSI) before attempting to remove the valve assembly. Removing valve parts under pressure is extremely dangerous.
Installation: We recommend applying a thin layer of silicone grease to the pin shaft and O-rings during installation for smooth operation.
